my hair is about 1 inch long on top and somewhat curly. now, I use LA Looks gel to style my hair for a spike/messy look.

just yesterday I picked up American Crew Grooming Cream hoping to develope a "dry" messy/spike look similar to Brian McFayden or Brad Pitt.

any advice on how to style my hair to look that way?

thanks :)

yeah i know what u mean this forum is like dead most of the time. :(

i cant answer your question but that look is pretty cool. I also wanted to try some dry messy + spike products that i can buy and achieve it even if my hair grows longer so it cant support it. hopefully it is cheap lol. I know this product called Sebastion X-Tah product but whoah is it pricey for that amount. But it is indeed really good...

Have u tried any wax that help you at all? I bought a wax before but the smell is so bad its too perfumish i cant stand it and had to return it.

you said you bough American Crew Grooming Cream did it work and achieve what you want? what about their wax i think their expensive though... there not on sale around here in my area.

yeah i know what you mean.. that product doesnt appear in most stores i looked, but however lately i did find it at my local mall in a hair care shop i never went too until now. They have different sizes oness too and also expensive!! :(

I think they have some at chinese salons and hair care stores too.. depends on where u are i guess.

which ones did u use before? one time at a salon they put the crude clay molder one on my head. i must say it is pretty cool, it doesnt have that shiny gel hard look but that clay stuff keeps it in place... well too bad my hair condition isnt that great or else it looks even better lol.
