I use da soft boar bristle brush when i get a fresh hair cut, and the hard bristle when my hair is a little growned out and rough.

hard=da best!
soft=when u dont wanna make yo hair go everywere.. like wen u at school and u dont wanna use the hard brush b/c u cant re pomade it.
