well i never heard of hair becoming thinner from brushing a lot either. But i always said it's not really necessary. Brush before you go out and brush before you go to bed. That's enough to get waves.
I use the gel and I like how it makes my hair soft. I've had good results. I don't know, im kinda startin to think cats are forcing themselves to see results. What works on one person's hair may not work on yours. Like sun above me said, do what you feel comfortable with.

Mayb he was tlkin bout the part that u get from brushin the hair in diff directions.
I never heard of hair thinning tho.
I feel u Twista, I think everybody kinda got caught up in that whole gel thing. I'm glad I tried it tho. Using it with the pomade has worked on my hair.
I think everybody just needs to find a method works for them.
BTW: There is other wave forums on the net? Or are u tlkin bout somethin else?
The reason i dont always come on here evr day or go 2 differnt forums iz b/c ppl always postin stuff lik dis. I keep my flow goin and do wut i wanna. I havent brought da gel or (example da military brush acouple months ago) Itsl ike myths and facts u kno. I keep my faith up and just brush and use murrays. Ppl on dis forum fantasy is 2 get dem deeper but u tellin me all des cats out here wid deep waves use gel... likly not, nahmean. Just use da pomade like they did..
Overbrushing? Just keep brushin cuz no1 knos if its true or false...

I've never been enthusiastic about brushing my hair for long amounts of times in one go or generally during the day. But I decided to give it a go today to see what results I could get. I've been up on some next forum where someone said that his hair started to thin and patches started to form due to 'overbrushing'. Anyone experienced this and do you think it is possible to overbrush your hair to this extent?
