If you guys want a thread on black hair waves here at HairTalk & are willing to police it for me to keep the spam & trash off the board, I would be only to happy to create a forum just for this topic. Or any others that you want to discuss.
Let me know if you want a special thread & if one of you would be willing to help us mod it and keep it on track. You can email me at shelton@hairboutique.com or send me bmail.
Thanks so much for all the great topics. I learn so much from all of your posts and I appreciate your participation very much.
Best wishes, Karen shelton@hairboutique.com
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)
Thank you so much for your feedback & support. I am so appreciative of all the interest.
I have had a couple of volunteers (thank you so much) but I have to say that Twista had volunteered a few months ago in the past to help mod the men's forum (thank you Twista) and today I had new volunteers for a new Waves forum.
Unfortunately it appears I did not get some email about this that someone tried to send me so I want to make sure that everyone who wants to help with this is included.
So can you please give me a little bit more feedback. Do you want a brand new Waves forum that is completely separate from Men's Hair? If so, we can do that & what do you want to call it? Men's Waves or something else?
Do you want to create any other related forums? I am thinking that we could break out the Men's Forum a little more and make the Men's Forum the main topic area with sub areas like Waves and any other related topic you would all like to develop...if you do have any other topics that are related.
That way Twista & the other mod volunteers could each help run their topic areas.
Let me know if this cool with you all & if so, I will work on setting up the threads and getting the volunteers set up to be the moderators.
Although it is true that we don't have a lot of spam & trash, we do have some isolated posting problems sometimes. HairBoutique.com does have some wonderful volunteers that help us monitor the boards & remove stuff before most of you all have to see it or deal with it. Unfortunately spam/trash/flamers are part of the Internet these days and we just try to keep that down as much as possible.
Thank you all so much.
Again, I have to say that I am learning so much from you all about various products. I read all the wave threads today and wow, so much I learned about creating/holding them.
Best wishes, Karen shelton@hairboutique.com
PS. My email doesn't always get to me so you may also want to bmail me as well. I apologize for any inconvenience.
