hi, i'm wanting a shaggy hair style and was wondering how i go about getting this, how much longer should i let my hair grow out,what do i need to give that look, etc

hmm add at least 3 more inches to your hair. then ask for a razor cut at the salon to give is texture. use pomade or fibrewax to style you hair. apply to damp hair. just let you hair fall to its own place.

I have shaggy hair..

get it a lil longer and if it still doesnt look shaggy when you get out of the shower or what not just shake it like a dog get it all messed up and it gives a good shaggy look.. it's what i do :)
