Okay, most any site I look at says you need to know your face shape, hair texture, etc in order to know what style of hair to choose. My question: how can someone know their face shape? They all look so similar that it's hard to know!

you have to look at how wide your forehead, cheek to cheek, and jawline is compared to eachother..wide jaw, medium middle, narrow forehead= triangle, the opposite measurements= inverted triangle, same width jaw as forehead= square, wide cheekbones but narrow forehead and jaw= diamond, totally round= round(obviously), rounded, but a bit long=oval...and so on... you want to try to add width with your hairstyle to whatever areas are narrow...and minimize width wherever your face is wide.
