Redken has got to be my favorite brand...

I have a question for you experts. My daughter had heard about a thickening shampoo & conditioner called either Fat Cat or Cat Walk, which one is best to make fine hair look & feel thicker?

Also all your talk about All Soft Shampoo has me interested. So I'll be getting that soon (see next paragraph)

My hair stylist is the best, when she goes to the supply place she picks us up anything we need or want to try. She doesn't know much about the redken line so said she would talk to the staff about which would work best for fine hair.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Unfortunately, Redken has recently discontinued the Fat Cat line. A good alternative would be Paul Mitchells Extra body Line. Cat Walk is not made by Redken, so I do not know very much about it.

Good Luck!!!

Well, thats too bad...I wonder why Redken is discontinueing so many items? Must not be big enough sellers eh?

Hopefully she'll be able to find some at the supply house anyway.

What other products would you reccomend for fine, thin hair?

Yeah and they also redesigned the whole line's packaging. Call me adverse to change but I liked the skinny bottles better!

Redken is continually coming out with new products that are better than the old ones. Right now they release a new product once a month. At this rate they must discontinue the older things that have been replaced with better technology.

Redken does still have a leave in conditioner called "Thick". It injects protein into the hair to make it thicker. Usually, thickners use ingrediants that swell the cuticle to make the appear thicker, but this also means destroying the hair. Redkens Thick does not do this.
