Do cornrows grow hair quicker. My hair is chin lenght. And I am tryin to grow it shoulder lenght by the end of this year.

Hi,

I don't think it has been proven but I believe that cornrows help hair grow better because there is less interruption from daily wear and tear, snagging, combing, etc., However, I don't think this has been necessarily proven as true.

I think black women(and other races of women) look great in short hair including short hair in cornrows. You sometimes see black women with very short hair in cornrows that just cover the head, not long enough to dangle down, just rows covering the scalp. Nice!
