Hi, I am new at this, so I hope I am at the right spot! It was very late notice for a family picture and I have not quite one day to prepare. The last time I dyed my hair was about 2 months ago and my roots have grown in about an inch. My natural color is not that different from the colored part, but I know it will be noticeable in a picture, is there anything I can do to hide my roots with out dyeing them, and with limited "up-do" (as my hair is not quite shoulder length and layered). If anyone has any suggestions please reply.

Wear a hat! Only kidding I can't really think of anything to do that doesn't involve dyeing. I'm assuming you have tried to "brush or style" your hair different ways to see if that lessens the roots. How about a color wash (same color as the roots) that will wash out - not permanent. There are some products that you can add for a one time shot that MIGHT make the roots appear lighther.
