ok, right now i have jet black hair gelled forwards and pushed up at the front. i find this incredibly boring, and i want to do something really really drastic that still looks good, like dying and spiking. only problem is, i have brown skin so i don't know what colour to dye/highlight/whatever, and i dress preppy so i am unsure whether spikes would match.

One of my best guy friends had the same exact type of hair.And he got his hair frosted and spiked aand damn does it look good!!!so higlight it blonde on the tips.beleive me it'll look great!!
ps. to all u guyz with long hair girlz don't think itz hot!!

don't worry abot dying the ends of your hair! since u r tan your hair is probably pretty dark also. if your hair is short spike all of it up. put gel in your hands and run them back through your hair. i have a bunch of guy friends who do this and we also are preps! take it from a girl when i say it looks really good!! only with short hair though!!!
