Bowlcuts

Among other things, you said, "... many girls really like long hair," but then you suggest "why not try this short haircut? ... why not try something new and bold, like a bowlcut or if you are really daring--a buzzcut, crewcut, or shave your head! why not try it?"

I'm curious... if most girls really like long hair, why do you want to encourage them to give up that which they like?

I'm not a teenager, but I know a few teenage guys, and most of them like long hair on girls.

You wrap up by saying that you "would like to hear from you girls that have short hair." Okay... so if you want to hear from girls who already have short hair, then why do you want those who have long hair now to cut it short or off?

Understand, I'm not chiding you for liking short hair, but I wonder why you wish to convince girls to cut their hair off when, as you say, many of them "really like" it long?

I believe he is referring to the Christian customs that dictate our beliefs on appropriate cultural behavior. It traditionally has not been acceptable for young girls or women in general to wear short hair. Fortunately, for those of us that do not like religious, or non-religious for that matter, subcultures to control our lives and thougths, many archaic practices are falling to a new age line of thought processes. For those who have never stroked the back of a women's buzzed head while sharing an intimate moment, your may never know just what you are missing. The rest of us will enjoy while you lumber in your neanderthal logic.
