QuoteReplyTopic: Help me pick a haircut Posted: April 15 2000 at 11:59pm
I recently had my waist legnth blonde hair cut to just above my shoulders by an ignorant stylist. I posted that on hair blooper if you want to see the whole story.
Anyway, I hated it, so I tried to cut some layers in it. It doesn`t look that bad but you can kind of tell it wasn`t done by a professional. I cut it on Friday, so I made an appointment at the mall for tomarrow so noone will see it from school.
I really don`t know what to get, cause I havn`t had short hair for long, and don`t know how styles would look. Should I just get some layers, or go shorter, or should I go for a short pixie?
Help me with ideas, if someone can post by tomarrow when I go it would help. Thanks.
Whatever you do DO NOT get the pixie cut. i got it and there are absolutely NO styles you can do with it exept for putting a clip in. Don't cut your hair anymore than it is because if you want to do different things with your hair you need at least the amount of hair you have now.

If you want a thought about it, it sounds as though with the layers it has in it at this point, you will have to let it grow out anyway, so go for the pixie! If you think about it you may not have this chance for a long time again (or a good excuse to play with it this much.) Plus the super short styles are definitley the hottest thing going right now, and you realy can do alot with them as far as changing the looks. anything from wild (spikes or toussled) to sleek (by slicking it down or back with gel or wax) So at this point have fun!!

I would say that the best thing for u 2 do is to have a long chat with your stylist and start off with something fairly simple at first.U might regret having a really short cut.If u don't like it,then u will have to grow it all over again(not good). I made this mistake,so take a tip from someone who knows.I have short hair that will take absolutely ages to grow again so i've decided not 2 even bother. But what ever u do,make sure that u r not pressured into having your hair cut how someone else thinks is best, make sure that it is what u want.
