I have hair that is EXTREMELY difficult to work with. It's dark (black that turns red-brown when I'm out in the sun a lot) and waist-length, but very thin: when I braid it into a single three-strand braid, it's so thin it looks like I should be hiding another similar braid behind my back! I also have hundreds of fly-aways. As if that wasn't hard enough to work with, I'm Asian so my hair is very very slippery (I've had classmates tie it in a knot - which falls apart when I shake my head).
My prom is coming up soon (first week of May), and I have a dark navy slip dress. Any suggestions for what to do with my hair would be greatly appreciated!!! Thx,
do you really like your hair being down to your waist, or wouldn't you mind a little change? because if you don't mind having a change, then my advice is you get your hair cut a little shorter. Not so short that there's hardly anything left, but just so it is down to a bit above your elbows. But if you really like your hair being long, then i suggest for you to go and see your hairdresser and ask what you could do with your hair to make it look good with your outfit AND be easy to do. Then, you could either get your hairdresser to do it, or you can do it. I hope this gives you a few ideas!
