QuoteReplyTopic: Help w/ different Hairstyle.... Posted: May 07 2000 at 2:58pm
A good friend of mine has the same problem, only he pushes it kinda to the side too out of habit. It curls a little and looks very good on him. If you don't want that though, try cutting the flip part shorter, like about a 1/4 inch off or something. Then try a little bit of hair gel and it should work.
Hey! It could be that your hair isn't cut for that style, or that it's too thick and/or wavy. Or, it could be that it falls that way 'cause you've worn it parted in the middle for so long. If that's the case, your hair will adapt with time. Gel should get it going in the right direction. If it's none of these, any extra-hold gel should do it, and maybe some firm-holding hairspray. If it's wavy, maybe try blowdrying (if it's long enough) to get it a bit straighter, then get it a little damp (with a spray bottle) and add the gel. Best wishes, Catriona
heya, u might just need to get it styled so that it is meant to stick up at the front. u could go to a cosmetic shop like superdrug or something and ask for a strong holding gel and try that. maybe, if some of your mates have that style, u could ask them how they changed from their old hairstyle into their new one, and how they got their hair to stay up!! i hope i've helped u out!
Hey, for years, i've been having the same dull hairstyle parted in the middle, so i thought i should change it...i tried doing the new hairstyle where it is comb forward and pushed up in the front, but when i push up in the front, it curls to the side...some one help! is there a type of hairspray or gel that fixes it?? please help ASAP -jason
