Just 'cause the hair gets longer and heavier doesn't mean it necessarily will fall straighter. A friend of mine has thick, INCREDIBLE (IMO) waist length hair, and it's wavy. Not curly, it's a large wave that - if her hair was short, you'd expect it would grow straight when it's long, but is doesn't.
you can damp a towel.fold it in half over your hair and iron it.then the bangs can be straightened with a curling iron. thats what they did back in the day!
I myself have naturally wavy hair and used to subject it blowdrying everyday.
I would say your best bet for straight hair would be blowdrying daily or using a hotbrush. Another method is to swirl your hair. If you have no idea what that is i will explain.
step 1) take an old pair of pantyhose and cut the foot off. 2) Make a knot at the end where your toes go 3) Take all of your hair and brush it around your head preferably in an anti clockwise direction. 4) put the stocking over your head 5) leave on overnight.
If you do this i can guarentee you deadstraight hair the next morning, but you will have lost all volume whatsoever , so you might have to blow it out a bit afterwards to add back the volume.
This method is far superior to relaxers as it doesn't chemically alter your hair and you can always go curly at any time.
Personally i prefer my waves these days. My hair has more movement when wavy.
you can to do two first dry blowdrying your hair with a round brush dry 1 inch sections at a time and then putting a straighting iron to it if it isn't straight enough if that doesnt work you can try a relaxer but i dont recommend if you are not black, and trust me when i say it relaxes it relaxes!!!!! please try the blowdrying and the iron.

I don't know how thick and how curly your hair is bu mine is naturally wavy curly too. I'm a guy with my hair cut in a bob below my ears with bangs. I blow it straight every morning using Redken One2One straightening balm. It works pretty good for me and it leaves my hair with movement and not stiff like some products do.
You can try the Conair straight styles, it uses steam while it straightens, so your hair will be shiny. But, don't use it everyday. If you don't have time, there are lotions that you can get in certain drugstores (I'm not sure of the brands; I'll post them for you if/when I find them!), they sraighten hair for about a few months.
okay heres the thing i have like really wavy curly hair and it sucks alot and does anyone know how i can make it straiht??? without going to like a hair place??
