I frequently use the liberty spikes. This is what you do. Use Murray's Beeswax, if you use enough, then it should only take you a few minutes. Otherwise, you could try and mix Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly and Gel. What you do is put the Vaseline on your head, then shortly after, apply the gel, let it sit for a few seconds, a blowdryer may be necessary, but it should work. When complete, I suggest going over the entire are of liberty spikes with hairspray just for a little enxtra strength
okay, really - the best way to do it - is just to go to a beauty store and buy hair cement. it works GREAT. and my hair is over a foot long. but its kinda pricey. so i think im gonna try the gelatin idea sometime this week. hopefully it wont kill my hair.

Good Charlotte's style is punk. their music is pop/punk/ K? if you dont know their music or them dont act like you do. anyways. if you want liberty spikes you:If you want them for more than 12 hours, use Knox gelatin. WATER IS BAD! If you are going to twist spike or liberty spike your hair, do not use hardly any water one your hair before you spike it. Te reason for that is obvious, water makes your hair limp, and if you put gel or knox on it, it will only stay spiked for a few minutes. It may be easier at first to use water to help form your spikes, but if you do you need to hold your head upside down for several minutes. and put hairspray on it. All you do is literally take a chunk of hair, twist it, then make it into a spiked shape after you have gel or something on it. I reccomend putting gel on your hair one spike at a time instead of putting gel all over your hair at once. Once you become used to liberty spiking your hair, it should only take 2 or 3 minutes. The first time i ever spiked mine though, it took 20 : (. But then again I didnt know what to do very well. I recommend super deluxe mega hold type hairspray over every type of spike as an extra precaution to avoid smashed spikes and stuff. #1 Good Charlette or whatever sucks mondo peepee! #2 liberty spikes are easy to do just get clear elmers glue and a hair dryer! 1:put glue on hand. 2: grab a chunk of hair and twist to a spike. 3: blow dry with a hair dryer. !!!!MOST IMPORTANT------DON'T DO YOUR WHOLE HEAD WITH GLUE DO ONE SPIKE AT A TIME!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a lot of ways u can do liberty spikes and**** gc its all bout the casualties,discharge,funeral dress,skeptix and many other punk bands u can use elmers clear glue do one liberty spike at a time and blow dry it.u can also use murrays grease do one at a time dont blow dry it or the grease will mealt put some hair spray after.u can also use elmers wood glue it really works great.jello unflavored works really good as well dont put too much water or u will**** it up. thats it ,the varukers kick ass!!!
Two ways: They will both take some practice, assuming this is your virginal attempt. Good luck.
1. You need rave x4 hairspray, beeswax, a bristle brush (the ones with black bristles) and a good blow dryer. Put in the beeswax to form the spikes, spray with rave and blow dry for staying power.
2. Knox gelatin. This one is more of a science. Heat up the knox so that it is in liquid form, coat into your hair and blow dry. One trick to keep the knox from hardening in the bowl is to fill up your sink with super hot water and let the bowl sit in it.It's really hard to get out so you are going to need a super deep conditioner and a comb to use in the shower. The spikes can last up to a week with knox though.
