no way will i go curlier. i`m going to go straight and then reperm just befre prom. iprefer to wear it straight for everyday. i dread being tied to a perm for several more moths after prom. but its ok i can hande it. my mom will be happy . for now i will trim my hair to keep the ends clean. yuor color well whatever you do remember your roots. if you go to dark you could be coloring forever. i think maybe a strawberry blonde would be nice. ive never colored but ive used highlights. and only a couple shades lighter. just be careful that you dont go to far.

i think it is going to work out. i`m going to wait til a month before prom and get another spiral. for now i `m going to grow my hair and have the ends trim. i really prefer my hair straight. its obvious how my mother likes it. she has been talking about doing my hair in the spring. god i hope so. i like to look nice for prom with spirals but i like to have a straight do to. i think she liked it when i said i could roll my hair in spirals a few times a week. shes happy as long as its curly. i mean it is my hair and all. i do use a conditioner. and i use a leave in conditioner about evryother day. except for the ends it stil looks healthy. and i trim the end when its time.

Maybe you could ask a hair stylist, if it`s too many perms within that amount of time. Do you condition, so that your perm doesn`t become to dried out and brittle? Maybe you could skip the perm this time and get one before the prom instead. keep me posted on your decision.

ok. i`m 17 and have a spiral perm. my mom talked me into one in may. my hair had always been straight. i almost cried for 3 days but after a month it really looked great. since then i`ve cut my hair a few inches twice. its still 3 inches below my shoulder. so heres the question. mom loves the look and wants me to get another spiral now and another spiral before prom in april. thats 3 perms in 12 months. i won`t let use anything but the biggest rods and the least amount of time but don`t you think thats to much prming. she used curoso (spelling?) rollers for a spiral look last prom and before i knew it my mom had me in the chair. any suggestions????
