I wanna use hair straightener, but i dont want it to smell like crap for the next 6 months. Is there a way to stop the stink? thanks

I don`t remember where i read it (I think it said it on the hair tip of the day on this web site.)

But i heard the old fashioned tomato juice remedy should work for something like that...probably keep it in for about 30 minutes?
