Hi, Karen again. This hair fight has gotton worse than ever. I went and told her that she didn`t have the right to make me get a haircut and that I got advice from you all on the web. She went to the website and decided that I`ll now probably have to get it cut even shorter next time...like styles 5050 or 5051, she says. She says I`m being disrespectful to her and that I`ll be punished with an even shorter haircut next time. I don`t know what to do now.
Well it is easier but it should be your decision. Are you and your sister getting bad grades in school or lots of boys distracting you in school for your mother to feel this way? How old is you sister and how long was her hair before she got her hair cut? Best thing to do is just keep a positive attitude about it, this is just going to make you sick if you let your mom get to you. Just accept your haircut and get on with your life, you don`t have to like it but if you try to fight your mom it could make things worse. Don`t give your mom the satisfaction of makeing you upset that is what drives these people, when spring comes volunteer to get your haircut short and then you can do it on your terms not your moms. Although you don`t want to go any shorter then you already have, you can get a longer pixie then maybe your mother would force on you, and you would not feel as bad if you doing it on your own terms. I talked with my mother and she said I would have to wear short hair like this (or even shorter) for a long time.She says my sister and I need to worry about studying and school and not so much about how we look. She says with short hair we won`t spend as much time getting ready in the morning and it will be easier to keep up. She says we`re going to get monthly trims and she may have my bob cut into a pixie when the weather gets warmer. My sister already has a pixie (2 inches with a clipped back). She hates her hair, too. We`re lost!

I feel so sorry for everyone that has this happen to them. Growing up my mother NEVER forced me or my sister to do anything with our hair we didn`t want to. I am so so sorry to hear that u hat the new cut. Definately talk to your mother about this.......
I got one forced on me by my mom. She made me get my long hair cut short in a bob with a buzzed back. She says its cute but I hate it. The back feels funny. She made my younger sister get a short cut too but she got a pixie cut. What should I do to make her let me grow my hair out again?
