OK this is what I think. My hair grows pretty fast but I`m not an expert or anything.
I think if you are healthy your hair grows healthy and faster. I`ve never seen anyone that looks really unhealthy but has great hair.
Vitamins are good but if you only ate vitamin pills your hair would not grow well. You have to eat protein and even fat too. I don`t get the eat 8 servings of this and that stuff because if you did that you would be eating 50 servings of stuff a day and would be a fat blob but I think what you need to do is eat lots of healthy stuff like fresh fruits and veggies and some protein like meat, fish, tofu, beans or nuts and stuff. And milk or cheese too. This also means you can`t eat junky stuff because then you won`t have room for good stuff.
And if you eat all those good things you need to exercise too. Like I said, if you live healthy then your hair will show it.
well, i would recomend vitamins E and C. But dont take pills for them. Eat lots of fresh fruit and veg and drink lots of water because these things will certainly be beneficial to your hair and skin, and your general mood. NiKoLe is wrong, not all of these vitamins will help with your hair, they each have something to work on. for eg. Vitamin D is used with calcuim to grow and maintain the bones and teeth, and Vitamin B is split into groups to help with lots of things. (and by the way, there is a vitamin K, but this wont help!) Also, if you want your hair to grow, get lots of sleep coz when you are semi consious, your body concentrates on the inside to repair and grow! :|
which fruit or vegie works best? my hair is short & i want it long for the summer so i am trying to grow it out as fast as i can. but i dont wanna take hair growing pills b/c they can be dangerous & they also cost to much money. so does anyone have any other ideas that i can try? if so, pleeze post em!
