I think your hair is too long to put up in spikes. 22 inches is very long for Liberty spikes. Twelve inches is a good length. I really dont think they will hold at 22in., at least not for long. But, if you want to try it... get some Aqua net hairspray in there strongest hold or Rave hairspray. If your hair is not straight you will need to blow dry it as straight as you can get it. Use a strong hold straightening gel. Then section the spikes you want to make, tease them from root to tip then smooth the outerpart. Use some hairspray to start giving it shape. Its like a sculpture. Except with hair. Use the blowdryer and hairspray to get the spikes to stand up.Then you could smooth down any flyaways with a little bit of gel. It takes practice to get it just right. Good luck!
Everyone at work has talked me into spiking my hair... My hair is considerably long (approx. 22 inches (56 centimeters)) and I`m not sure what to use to make it spike up all the way. I`m sure there`s some kind of gel/glue that I could use, but I`m clueless on how to search for it... If anyone has any suggestions I`d be glad to hear them. Thanks in advance.
