Wow that`s exactly like my Dad is I can`t wait to go to college i`m gonna grow it out even longer than it`ll be by that time and bleach it blonde and dye it red and purple and all sorts of colours.
This is my signature. It's not a very good signature, but it's a signature nonetheless.

Oh WOW! I had know idea you didn`t live at home....first year at college! DUDE.......Do whatever the hell you want with your hair. :) A "little weany girl.....Geez...... So, they think your long hair means you are turning into a lowly weak girl. She must hate herself then. You could declare all out war with that remark alone. Maybe you can make them laugh about it. Buy a cheap long hair jesus wig and put on some makeup........take a picture....send it home signed......Little Weany Girl. :) When they call you names thats a bad thing. Sounds like Mom and Dad need to step into this century. Get your Mom an issue of Bust magazine. It`s a femanist zine that will shock the hell out of her.
I recon she would flip cause she`s already been teasing me (so has dad), that it looks `like a little weany girl` grrr. I dunno, she`s a bit conservative when it comes to that sorta thing. She is also quite...strict? control freak? something along those lines. I`m in first year uni, living on campus, I only come homeevery few onths, yet she`s still....overbearing at times. Hope the babble makes sense
Hello I think you should tell your Mom that you want a "different" haircut. Not a shorter one just another kind. Thats a good way to put it so she can get used to the idea of a different looking you. As for it looking too girlish..........make sure your haircut is choppy. Think layered ends not blunt cuts. You don`t want to end up with the Little Dutch Boy look. More Kurt Cobain choppy.Tell your hairstylist that you want to grow your hair out longer. Let them know about the trouble with your Mums reaction to longer hair and they can help you out too.If your Mom thinks long hair means you will turn into a drug taking alcoholic rocker...tell her to look at the Hansons. ;) I have seen and known so many young men who grow there hair out in there teens, it has become a right of passage. Why exactly do you think she will flip out?
Ok, I`ve been thinking of growing my hair out, but recently my mum has been bugging me about getting a haircut (she doesn`t know that I want to grow it, I recon she`d flip). So my question is, how to I get my hair to actually look reasonable and `not too girlish` while growing my hair, and thus prevent parental objection?
