Manic Panic, Directions and the European version La Riche` are all very good products. IF you know what you are doing they will stay super bright for at least two weeks. Then start to fade. All dyes fade.Don`t wash your hair everyday, use cool water, use gentle shampoos and a good conditioner. You must bleach your hair too.I used these dyes for about ten years so I know what I`m talking about. Also my brother has green hair and has had it for at least five years now using Manic Panic. He just switched to blue this weekend. Punky color is ok if you can`t find the other ones but it does not have as much shine, depth and sparkle.Just look at the dye and you can see the difference in the jar. It does smell good. When it first came out nobody out this way wanted to use it because of the corny name.LOL "Punky Color" really smacks of lameness. It sounds like something a mom would think up. LOL But, it was a good substitute when I couldn`t find Manic Panic.
Hi folks! I answered under the general discussion. I didn`t realize that was you Aion. If you are going for the Manic Panic Red use the 7th Stage Bleach on the ends after the Colorfix......I am pretty sure its Clairol that makes it. Just get it to the color of the outside of a banana. It will take a few times. You can leave it on the black for up to an hour. Keep it moist by spraying it with a mister, bleach stops working if it dries out.It also stops lifting after about an hour too.Examine your hair each time you process it. You want to stop before it gets too frazzled, even if you have not acheived your banana yellow. You could end up with a "chemical haircut" :) I think the black tips would look really good. You might just want to grow them out with red roots. Tre sexy!
Same question here. Totally forgot about that part. I dyed my hair black...it`s kinda grown out, but not totally. So how would I make sure the black gets out? Thanks again:)
How would I get the black outta my hair? I have been dying my hair black for at least 4 years now, and I tried to bleach it the other night and of course it didn`t work... and sugguestions?
This is very easy. You need to bleach your hair. Then put Manic Panic in the Red of your choice on it. Voila! You must bleach your hair to get very bright colors. To keep it bright use a "for color treated hair" shampoo and conditioner. Something with a sunscreen in it. Manic Panic now makes a color shampoo for the Red colors. Dont wash it in hot water. Think of it like a bright t-shirt. Hot water fades dyes. This will be messy but its not hard. Just be sure to read ALL the directions. Particularly the bleaching directions. Always wash your hair twice after you bleach. Then use the Red. You may have to redue the Red every two weeks. See how it goes. Short hair is much easier to bleach/dye.
Hey. I`m a 18 year old guy. Naturally I have dirty/dark blonde hair. Wear it kind of messy/spiky dry look. I`m planning on dyeing it bright red. But I`ve seen so many people walking around with this dull red colour, because somehow they just didn`t do it right. So I was wondering...how can I get my hair the red really bright...I mean RED RED...unnatural red...red like rudolph`s nose ;) And what can I do to make it stay that bright? Thanks!
