HELP! I had light brown hair w/ red and blonde hight lights. I wanted to go back to my orginal color (medium brown) so i dyed my hair. It was supposed to be a medium-light brownish color but it came out brownish-orangish almost a carrot top color!!!!!! not a good thing! I need to change it but when is the most soon i can dye it again with out hurting my hair??? Thanks, Me ;)

Oh brother.
Usually they say 72 hours.
I would get it done professionally if you can, but if not, check to see if there was peroxide in the dye. It would explain why the red in your hair turned orange. Stay away from peroxide, because the same thing happened to my mom.

Peroixide is probably the suspect.
