Hi everybody on the Hair Talk message board its me Britney once again and I'm sorry for the delay on not posting sooner about my hair appointment that I had for Saturday the 22, so here is my update about what I did with my boring hair
When I got to the salon I all most changed my mind about cutting my hair and when the stylist called my name it was to late any ways... so me and the stylist started to talk about what I wanted to do with my hair and after 15 minutes of talking about my hair, I decided not to go for the inverted bob with a buzzed nape and decided on getting a short bob haircut instead and my stylist said it would look great on me with my features and I was really nervous about getting this haircut because it had really short bangs and part of my lower ear lobes would be exposed and part of my nape would be buzzed in the back so you would have to say I did get a buzzed nape and after the hair cut was finished it looked really awesome on me and its allot shorter than it looked in the picture I saw in the hair style book but I really love this new haircut and how it looks on me especially with the short bangs which brings out my eyes and of course the buzzed nape feels great on me!!!!!!!!
WOW I REALLY LOVE MY NEW SHORT BOB HAIRCUT

Hey Brit, I think a shorter, pixie-ish cut is much sexier than an inverted bob. The pixie is more stylish and cuter than the inverted bob. Good luck in what you decide. Let us know

Hi everybody well today I was at the mall with a couple of my friends to shop and we went by a new hair salon that just opened and it had a picture of a very short pixie haircut and one of my friends said why don't you go for it and get this pixie haircut and I all most did cut my hair off but decided to wait until Saturday because I do have an hair appointment that I want to keep to get a haircut any ways and I don't want to go this short right now so I just wanted to share this with everyone on the message board and thanks

Some women do wear inverted bobs, I've see them once in a while and it is more common now than it was a few years ago. It isn't the most common form of bob haircut however, it's considered a little too trendy or chic for Mrs./Miss Middle America.
I wouldn't be afraid to get this sort of haircut however. Virtually every modern haircut you see was considered unusual or outlandish at one time.
Who makes the rules on fashion anyway?, especially these days when there are so many different styles.

I made a big mistake about getting a haircut on Saturday the 15 instead my hair appointment will be for this Saturday the 22 so I will let everybody know what I did with my hair and once again sorry about the big goof up on the dates
another interesting FYI: Catherine Zeta-Jones wore the short (unflattering, I think!) wig because she didn't want her naturally long hair to obscure her face during the dances. I read that the producers wanted her to ditch the wig but she insisted, so no one would doubt that she actually did her own dancing!
Sorry that was off-topic, but doltish me couldn't find the original thread.

No its not in style and has not been for...decades! Lok around, whens the last time you noticed someone at the mall with one of these cuts or a celeb on TV? Just me... but when I hear Buzzed nape or inverted bob... I think fetish.

I think you should now worry about whether the haircut is in or not...you should cut your har becuase you think that style will look good on you. I did, however, read this week that Rene Z's (from the movie Chicago) short bob is in. And the Reese Witherspoon recent short cut is still in. I would check out Catherine Zeta Jones' cut in Chicago. The bob seems inverted slightly, and the buzz in the back is not very severe, and that look is sensational. Remember, you can always cut more later (on the other hand, your hair will grow back!)
Good Luck!

Hi everybody its me Britney once again and its been awhile since I posted on the Hair Talk Teen message board and my hair has grown out since the last time I posted and if you remember that I was going to get a inverted bob haircut with a buzzed nape but decided that I wasn't ready to get one yet but instead I got my hair trimmed and now I'm finally brave enough to go for a inverted bob with a buzzed nape haircut...
Also I was wondering if this haircut is still in style or not because I don't really want a haircut thats out of style so please let me know before this Saturday because I have an hair appointment to get my haircut and thanks
