Help PLEASE!! I got a perm in May and I hate it! My hair is not quite to my shoulders, and when I went to get it done I asked for a loose perm, but the lady gave me a really tight perm. It is always really frizzy and looks bad. Over the past couple years, I have dyed, permed, and highlighted my hair, and right now my hair is pretty fried. I would like to get my hair relaxed then get it cut a little bit shorter, but my mom says no because she says my hair will over process. I'm only 14, and I've seen what over-processing does to peoples hair. What should I do? Should I cut my hair shorter with the perm and try to work it? If I were you, I'd just CO wash until the perm wears off.

...Then stop processing your hair and swear an oath to treat it like silk. It's so worth it...
