I didn't have any luck with the Frizz Ease Serum either. Only the Glistening Creme worked for me. If you're getting a hair dryer, try to get one with a cool shot setting. You can give your hair a blast of cold air to hold the style and lock in the shine. Using a round brush while you're drying helps too.

I tied john frieda frizz ease serum for my hair. It worked ok but not amazingly, I think though I need to blow dry it after washing, so Im gonna buy a hairdryer this weekend.

The best one I've ever used is REDKEN GLASS. It comes in a really tiny bottle but it lasts for ages. You just need to use a few drops each time you style your hair. Just put some in the palms of your hands and run your fingers through your hair. You can do this on damp or dry hair -- it makes my hair really shiny. I've had my hair cut with face-framing layers and it keeps the layers in place without making my hair stiff -- you can still run your fingers through it and it has lots of movement.
Another great shine enhancer is JOHN FRIEDA GLISTENING CREME. It's an after-shampoo conditioner. I live close to the ocean, so over the years I've tried lots of products to get rid of frizz and make my hair look sleek and shiny. These two products are the result of that long (expensive) search. Have fun with your new hairstyle!
P.S. A cheaper alternative to the Redken Glass is HOLLYWOOD BACKSTAGE HAIRCARE - HAIR POLISHER. It works quite well. I think I paid about $4 for it at Wal-Mart. (I've never used the Tresemme Straightening stuff you mentioned. Since it's a gel, I would assume it would make your hair kind of stiff and crunchy. I could be wrong, but that's what most of those products do.)

hi, i talked to the woman who can round to cut my hair (not the shop yet) and the problem i have is that my hair is dull and puffy, i want it shiny and sleek and actually move when i move my head kinda thing ^^, at the momoent its at the bottom of my eyes. She suggested a hair sirum, im not sure which one to buy though, can anyone recomend me one? theres also some "treseme streightning" stuff, looks like gel in a tube. would that be good for the look i want? thx alot!
