It is motorized. I got it at Walgrens. I have long , lightened hair which is very difficult to comb when wet or in the mornings. This has these little paddle teeth that somehow move and detangles hair.

Hi Claudia, what is this Remington Detangler? A motorized comb or brush? Puzzled...

Just thought I'd share ; the new remington detangler is great- it can be used on wet or dry hair and it really works
