Hi. I've seen posts where people say that they wash their hair only with conditioner, and others wash their hair only a few days a week. Do either of these techniques really make a difference? How can washing with just conditioner really clean the hair? I'm curious!!
I bought some batteries, but they weren't included.

Many longhairs don't wash more than 3x per week because we need the accumulating oil (and brush it through with boar bristle to moisturize the ends). Long hair doesn't get greasy that easily because all the oil is (hopefully) evenly distributed.

CO (conditioner only) doesn't necessarily "wash", but it "gently lifts" dirt and oils; since some shampoo detergents are too harsh for some folks. It works for many longhairs (but takes an adjustment period) but sometimes people with scalp itch don't like CO. Personally I gave up on it because I lost too much hair during the process and got some scalp breakouts.

Greetings Kathy, AnaisSatin...

I tend to wash my hair once every 5-7 days. I found that by gradually decreasing the frequency helped my scalp to adjust to putting out less oil. Also, I dilute the shampoo about 10-1 in a translucent plastic bottle (empty shampoo bottle), and apply the diluted mixture only to the roots, and until it starts to suds (gently massaging it in with my fingertips to loosen & lift the grease). This helps my hair to get clean, but not so much that it is deprived of all of it's natural oils.

Hey if you didn't already know, conditioner has cleaning agents in it so that's why people only wash their hair with conditioner and its because they are tired of using shampoo on their hair. They are worrried that by using the shampoo that it will stip their hair of much needed oils and other good junk that's good for your hair.
