how big of spikes are you talking about?
you can use hairspray, just spray it on to your hair, hold it up with your hand and then blowdry for a coupla secs

How do I get my hair to stay up because whenever I try spiking it, it just falls down, even with gel...I tried a blowdryer but it doesn't seem to work and it keeps falling down...please help. I don't really have all those fancy things.
