Dull hair can also be from product buildup. You will probably benefit from a vinegar rinse (1/2 cup vinegar + 2 cups water as an example dilution. Pour this mixture through your hair AFTER shampoo and BEFORE conditioner)
or dull hair can also benefit from a cold rinse. Best thing is to do shampoo, vinegar rinse, conditioner, cold rinse. This closes up the microscopic scales on the outside of the hair shaft. When the scales lay flat, more light is reflected correctly.
Washing your hair more than once a day will make it worse, so wash once a day to every other day. Try head and shoulders for the dandruf. Blow dry your hair and try some spray/gel to get it how you want.
As you can see from above my hair is kind of flat and doesn’t stay in position. I have realised since starting my brand of 'American Crew' Products (Daily Shampoo and Leave in Conditioner) I have seen my hair improve its condition from dull to normal.
I have realised I have also got some dandruff now as well. I am not sure if its to do with my Leave in Conditioner or Shampoo?
I wash my hair at least once a day or once every 2 days, depending if I wake up late or I am busy or not.
I shampoo every 2 days as I feel my hair goes rough and unmanageable if I don’t.
My question is I want my hair to be able to lift itself up and not stay flat. How can I achieve this? Is my shampoo/Leave in conditioner by American Crew good for my hair and not damaging?
What Gels do I need and if I use gel im assuming I would need to throw away my Leave in conditioner?
