Hi everyone,im new here my name paul and here my history short version well ive wanted to have long hair since i was 15yo trouable was with me i kept getting to a certain point then cutting it think something to do with my obsessive compulsive disorder.Now fast forward twelve years im 27 now and i had grown it longest it been for long time and for some unknown reason got it buzz cutt i hate it.My hair thick and wavy any tips growing it and how to not make this mistake again, ill post few pics before after when work out how to lol hugs to you all

Perfect time to join our Long Hair Support Board... We have many people here like DaveDecker and Erinlynn with very long healthy hair that's sure to inspire you. If you have OCD, I suggest you get professional help first if you think that's the reason for your cutting.

Hello, Paul :)

You sound very sweet :) I truly wish you luck in your endeavor- I have the same uncontrollable compulsion to cut my hair- so I'm in the same boat with you and completely understand. Don't get upset with yourself over your decision. Learn from it, and every time you feel like cutting it, look back on just how unhappy you are. I have a friend that I can call when I have the urge to do something impulsive, or in this case, compulsive. He's always right beside me, and able to remind me of what makes me happy, and he makes me think about my decisions. He's a great source of strength :)

Hi Snuggles,

For the record, that is an awesome idea.. to have a friend who will support you when you're about to do something impulsive (I understand many people are even able to quit smoking successfully this way too)
and I'm definitely going to pick a friend for this sometime soon... Thanks, Snuggles : )
