Hello,I have just had a breakthrough thought....Well not really but I needed a good introduction. Anyway, I was wondering if nuts are good for your hair (Peanut Butter, sunflower seeds etc) as they contain a fair bit of oil.Robin-Ann

Taste is not always a good indicator. I eat a lot of almonds and I wouldn't be surprised if they contribute to shine. I read somewhere that Americans complain that their hair is not shiny enough and look for products to give shine. The author of the article said that there are always drawbacks to a low-fat diet. Dull hair can be one of them. He stressed that low-fat didn't mean no-fat.
Jade,Thank you for the information! Being diabetic and a vegetarian, I do eat a low fat diet but know the importance of fat in one's diet. I didn't know that such a simple thing like peanuts would have an effect on my hair.... Now I hope that isn't the case with sunflower seeds!Robin-Ann
