Good Day!I am looking for a good hair care line that will help my dry hair. I have found that the Body Shop (I live in Canada) has done a good job, but it is quite expensive. I was hoping to spend no more than $20.00 for a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner at least 350ml or so in size. I am planning to try the new products on the 21 of August as it is the new moon. I know that many board members like the Aveda line (What is the correct way of saying this? A VEDA or A VEEDA).Thank-You,Jenna

Aveda.. is with the long A sound.. I was saying it like it had a long E sound at first til I called the Aveda Concepts Store and heard it the right way! I think Aveda is more expensive than Body Shop's stuff. I have used the products from the Body Shop for years. I think the smell of the store is contagious and it pulls you in! I couldn't use the shampoos or conditioners from there.. I got build up quickly from their products but used their skin products for years til my skin changed for an even more oily problem and nothing there would agree with me. I still go in there and shop for soaps etc..I got a catalog recently and saw they have come out with alot of new skin products so I maybe back there shopping before long to test them out. Anyway.. Aveda is great and right now I am into Nature's Gate Original Herbal which is doing wonderful on my dry hair. You can get it at a healthfood store. Good luck.. Hi,I hate to keep repeating myself...but if you buy hair care products at the online WW Beauty Store (which is 100% safe and secure) you can save a lot of money.I have been buying all my hair care products there since I discovered this great place. I have already saved a ton of money and don't feel so bad buying the high quality products.I personally love ARTec Smoothing & Aveda Shampure & Blue Malva. If your hair is dry or damaged in any way...ARTec Smoothing and Shampure will help remoisturize your hair.I tried the Body Shop and it turned my hair to straw. Lots of buildup and I did not like it at all even though I really liked the stores. Cher is right...the smells are heavenly.I don't know about Nature's Gate because I just bought some last weekend and have not tried it yet. However, I am going to give it a fair shot.I also believe that everyone has different hair and therefore requires different products. Aveda works well for some folks and not others. It just depends on a lot of factors...how thick your hair is, if it is color treated, it is curly, etc. Everyone needs to experiment until they find what works best for them.Hope that helped a little. I am including some pricing info on Aveda and Artec. You can see the prices on all the popular brands by surfing through the WW Beauty store.Best wishes,KarenARTec Smoothing Shampoo 12 oz. WW Beauty Price: $6.75 or Retail Price: $9.00 32 oz. WW Beauty Price: $13.45 or Retail Price: $18.00Aveda Shampure Shampoo 8 oz. WW Beauty Price: $6.90 or Retail: $9.84 33.0z.
