Have been waiting for a year to grow out this mess. Unfortunately my crown grows very slow. Have been layered into oblivion. My crown is layered into a point and therefore cannot lay down. I was cut like a Christmas Tree with my left side of my crown about one inch and my right side 5 inches. I can't believe what has happened. I just want my hair to lay right on my head, however, that is impossible as I have wavy, curly hair. I have a lot of weight and layers on my sides, however. No hairstylist knows what to do with me. Can I get some help or should I think of shaving all this hair which is misplaced on my head, off? Are there any experts out there that can help me??? Please

Hi Barbara,I really sympathize with you.Unfortuantley you do have limited options because of the original cut.You can get the much longer hair cut shorter to match the shortest parts so that your hair is the same length all the way around. At least you will be starting from a same length perspective. The danger with this is that without any weight at all, your hair may seem to grow "out" rather than "down". I don't know if you would find this better than your current situation or not.Have you tried using a good strong gel to get the hair to lay flatter? I have had great luck with Aveda Confixer. If you want to talk about this more, email me and I will try to find other options. My sympathies. I know how terrible it is when hair won't behave.Best wishes,Karen> Have been waiting for a year to grow out> this mess. Unfortunately my crown grows very slow.> Have been layered into oblivion.
