After reading all the notes, like the funny ones from Diane and Karen, and the sad one from Christina, I just wanted to say thank you to all the ladies out there who put up with the hassles of long hair. The barbeque sauce story from Karen was funny, but points out the hazards of long locks. After all, Pam had to go wash the gook out after the little boy (I think it was a boy...probably a budding long hair fan!!) had his fun with it!We men are very quick to think about the romance and attractiveness of long hair on women, but seldom think about the patience it takes to wear it. My first wife once caught one of those dangerous round brushes in her mid-back length hair. It took me an hour to get it out while she gradually worked her way to tears! I laughed at first, but as she became more upset, she bawled me out and realized how serious the situation was to her. The offending brush was eventually removed and we could both laugh then!Anyway, thank you LHL's! At least one male appreciates your patience!

Dear Longfan,Your note was appreciated. You sound a lot like my husband. When I wanted to cut my hair short he got very upset and thank goodness because I really want to grow it out its just having the patience. I too had to chuckle about the hairbrush incident but only because I've been in your wifes shoes only my husband was doing the brushing. He got the brush tangled and I had to get it out of my hair. It's funny though because I know when he picks up that hairbrush I'm in for a long night (and not because I'm untangling brushes)!Fellow long hair fan,Angel O:)After reading all the notes, like the funny ones from> Diane and Karen, and the sad one from Christina, I> just wanted to say thank you to all the ladies out> there who put up with the hassles of long hair. Hi Longfan,Thanks for the male viewpoint. It was nice to hear it. I have met some men that really understood about women and their hair and then some that didn't. So it was nice to hear from someone who does.I hope you will post again. It is nice to get new opinions.Karen> After reading all the notes, like the funny ones from> Diane and Karen, and the sad one from Christina, I> just wanted to say thank you to all the ladies out> there who put up with the hassles of long hair.
