I just read the daily tip about Prell stripping color and buildup. I've been using a color-enhancing shampoo and am going to get my hair colored with a semi-permanent on Saturday. The problem is the color shampoo has built up on my hair and I assume I need to remove it before the semi is applied. Has anyone had any experience using Prell to strip the residue from color shampoo? Thanks for your response!

Thanks for your response!Hi Julie, I've used it to help strip semi-permanent color off of my hair & it works pretty well. I would maybe suggest you shampoo, then while the shampoo is on your hair, place a shower cap over it & apply a hair dryer for a few minutes. I believe this opens up the hair cuticle & allows the shampoo to wash away more color pigments. I did it a few times leaving the shampoo on for about 10 min. each time, then rinse & condition. Good luck! Kelly F.
