I'm with you,I am so with you. I am also in the process of growing out my bangs. What I do is just put them back in a headband, or split my bangs in two and clip them to the sides with those V-Clips made of metal, bend them one way, they open, bend them the other way, they snap shut. Just basic ones.I really like these. My bangs are wavy because my hair is naturally kind of wavy and by doing this, they remain neat and straight.Good luck in this tedious task.Merry Christmas!!!

Headbands are good, and so are the v-clips...I've started taking small sections and twisting them and then pinning back. My hair is wavy/curly, and I've been using the new ConAir Straight Styles tool to straighten my bangs and then just brushing them off to the side a bit (mine are 6 months into it, about top lip length when they are straight).> I'm with you,> I am so with you. Well, I have a habit of cutting my bangs, thinking it will make them striaghter.....no ways! So they're about lip length too, but they won't straighten out until they get really long.Hey, that Conair thing you talked about. Is it that thing they advertise on T.V.that looks like a plastic bag heat sealer but it straightens curls,if so, where did you get it and how much did it cost?Hope you guys had a good Christmas.

It was $20.00 at Wal-Mart. It is very easy to use, and since I'm not using it every day, it doesn't seem to be damaging. You fill a reservoir with water and use steam...it has gotten better results for me than all the straightening shampoos and balms I've tried..Laura
