That is exactly how I wear my hair also...Since you know to have your ends "safely tucked away" you know exactly what you are doing. Good job!

I usually twist my hair and then roll it up to the middle-back of my head and clip the whole thing so the ends are safely tucked away. I love those clips since they're real lifesavers on days my hair doesn't look so hot!

I wear a butterfly clip every day.It works great for my medium- long, thick hair that I wear up almost every day. However if you so use one that not the best quality it will take out LOTS of hair.(I learned this the hard way)When used properly they are far less damaging than even a scrunchie or a braided rubber band.Invest in a good quality clip(one that is made of hard thick plastic and with wide teeth) and you should be in good shape.

> Does anyone know if wearing your hair up in butterfly> clips OK for the hair? Are those also called "claws"? If so, I have a large clip and like to wear my hair up for a change. It's fine, delicate hair and I have to be careful with it. However, I did notice one time after wearing the clip that the next morning, I lost more hair than normal. That made me very careful the next time about how I "clip" it onto my hair. I do think that it can break your hair.

Does anyone know if wearing your hair up in butterfly clips OK for the hair? My hair is damaged and I like to wear my hair up and tucked under and want to make sure I don't make it worse. Are butterfly clips safe for the hair?
