I still haven't colored my hair yet. I hate to even get it started again. A friend of mine gave me a box of hair color called Shadings by Revlon. Has anyone ever used this product and if so does it damage your hair?

Oops! I hate it when that happens! Yeah, you could use loving care although that is not most hairdressers favorite kind. It has a reputation of being a "metallic dye" wich often wrecks havoc with perms and future permanent haircolor. Maybe try another newer brand of semi-permanent haircolor like Castings, Avantage, Natural Instincts(my 1st choice)

I've stopped coloring my hair because it was getting more and more damaged. The problem is that I have about 1 1/2 inches of new growth and the rest of my hair is auburn. I was wondering if I could use a product like loving care -hair color that isn't permanent and more importantly doesn't harm my hair- and make it all one color. Can you use that product on hair that has permanent haircolor on it. I haven't colored my hair in about 2 months and it looks strange. Are there any shampoos that I can try that will give me an all over color? HELP!!!
