Has anyone ever used Nexxus products? I'm using generic versions (from Sally's) of the Nexxus Therappe Moisturizing Shampoo and Nexxus Humectress Moisturizing Conditioner, and they seem to be working miracles on my hair! But, I don't recall ever having seen them mentioned on HairTalk. Does anyone know anything about them? Do they cause buildup? I can't believe how wonderful my hair feels after these products... Has Karen ever written a review of them?(I asked this a while ago, but The Hair Boutique was having server problems, and I never saw any replies. If anyone replied then and I missed it -- I'm sorry!)

Yes, I use nexxus quite often, keraphtix for deep conditioning and ensure for everyday use. It does build up (what doesn't) and I usually lay off it for a while and then switch back. Right now I alternate it with Tigi moisture maniac and I'm getting great results.> Has anyone ever used Nexxus products? Hi Jen--I have loose naturally curly hair-- so my results with Nexxus may different then yours. The first time I ever used Therrape and Humectress was on my honeymoon in Jamaica last summer. I have to say that after the first use, I was very pleased. However, after one full week it was becoming increasingly more difficult to get the pick through my hair. When I got home, I put Nexxus away on the closet shelf. Later that month, I bought a book called "Don't Go Shopping for Haircare Products Without Me". In it, I learned that Therappe contains a fixative which is what was building up on my hair. So, your hair may not have problems now, or a week from now, but if you aren't using a clarifier, I would BEG you to. If the fixative is in there, build-up will occur. As far as Humectress goes, I do enjoy using it alone as a leave in, especially if it is humis out. It is heavy enough to use as a styling aid for my curls.Remember, this is only my opinion of the products. I have a friend whom I met at the "boutique" and she LOVES her THerappe. Please just keep this info. in mind: There is a fixative in there, so use a clarifier now and then!SherryNexxus products? Thanks for the tip! I've been using the products for about three weeks and don't seem to have any build-up yet. (How exactly do I know if I have build-up, anyway?) Does anybody know a good clarifyer? How often should I use it?

Hi,Yes I use Therapy and Humectress and am very happy with the results. I just wish they didn't have the fixative in this particular shampoo. I was the one Sherry was referring to when she said I have had positive results with these products..I sometimes try other products, but always return to these two products. I think they're some of the best on the market. Hope this helps.Holly
