I have the same question that someone at the top of the list did. What is the best way to do a bun properly? I have thick, long hair and need some new ideas, how about a french twist? Any interesting thoughts?

Hi Paula,Although I have a bob now, I used to have long hair. Because I am a reservist in the Air Force, I had to be able yo pull my hair up. I used to resort to nasty little balls and unatractive things, then, after I cut my hair, one of the girls in my unit discovered this "bun" maker at her local Wal-Mart. It's this plastic contraption that makes the prettiest buns-- and they stay in through even vigorous activity. Now all of the girls with long hair in my unit are using them, and I even bought myself one (since I am on the grow). These things seem mucj easier to use than those "hairdini's" and they really do look great! I can't wait to be able to use mine!Sherry> I have the same question that someone at the top of> the list did. What is the best way to do a bun> properly? SherryWould the bun maker stay in during a gymnastics competition? My daughter has tried several ways to keep her hair in a bun when she competes, but it always comes loose.Lucille
