HELP! in search of chemical-free hairstyles

some one pleeeeeeease help me! I have a chin-length bob cut bluntly. It's chemical-free. I am now either blow drying it straight and curling it or I straighten it with a comb and then curl it. I am searching for a natural hair style that is easy to create, re-create at home and maintain in between salon visits. does anyone have any suggestions? Last summer I wore natural double twists all over but it required too much setting lotion that ended up making my scalp itch terribly after about the third or fourth day, not to mention the fact that I can't afford $50 every 2-3 weeks (average time the style lasted). Please reply.
