SD Alcohol and bad hair days

Hi,Well your problem could be the alcohol or it could be some other ingredient. It could also be that the product just does not work with your hair type. My friend Jane just tested ABBA and she loved it. Her review is on the front page of Hair Boutique (I just posted it). I personally hated the ABBA. It made my hair sticky and drab and it hung in clumps. I tried it a couple of different times in different ways and it never worked.However Jane's hair looks great after she uses ABBA. So go figure.Whether a product works or not depends a lot on your hair texture, condition, other products you use, whether you use styling products, etc. Lots of variables.That is why when people tell me that they tried the ARTec Smoothing that works great on my hair and it didn't work well on theirs I remind them everyone's hair is different.Unfortunately there is no guarantee when you buy a product that it will work. Hopefully it has been discussed on Hair Boutique and you may have an idea of the types of hair it works best on.I personally can only use the KMS Flat Out on my hair. I have tried several of the shampoos and the conditioners and the setting products and have had terrible luck. Why? I don't know.I have great luck with ARTec's Textureline. Everything I have tried literally makes my hair look great. I also have great luck with Aveda and such products as Styling Curessence, Confixer and Elixer.I don't have great luck with some of the Phyto products but #7 and #9 leave in conditioners make my hair literally gleam and sparkle. So who knows?I do think that any products with alcohol can be a lot more drying. I am currently testing Lanza Long Hair which also has alcohol and my hair is not responding well to the products. I am going to give it to another long haired friend to try and maybe it will work better for her.I guess if you have tried the product a lot and it still doesn't work for you, maybe you can trade one of your friends for a product that does work well for you.Let us know how it all turns out for you.Best wishes,Karen> Recently I bought a product over the internet called> Lanza Curls and Color Spray Gel.
