I have naturally curly hair so I have basically tried just about everything. I got the best results with two products: Frizz Ease serum and ThermaSilk mousse. Frizz Ease is the better more expensive route and not sticky in the end. Put a small amount and comb through then blow dry by small sections. If you have some problem areas use a big curling iron to smooth and curl the ends. Hope that helps!

I used to straighten my hair, and I had this same problem. My hairdresser told me that the secret is to keep going even after the hair looks totally dry and straight. You need to keep going over each section until way after it seems its been enough. Alas, I never had the patience for this and my hair always turned out frizzy and bushy. So I have given up, but maybe it will work for you.

Hello all,I am in the process of growing out from a perm, about a year now and can't seem to dry it straight enough. My hairdresser does it, but seems like she just grabs my hair in handfuls and pulls. It would be easier if I could just detach my head and style it. Any advice on how to get it straighter? Without chemicals? I can get the sides but when it dries it just gets wavy and frizzy at the shoulders. Do I pin it up to dry the bottom first? My hair is about to the middle of my back, and sort of shorter around my face to frame it. It is also thick and somewhat wiry. :)
