Hi,I'm interested in trying out Feria's Deep Currant, but I've heard some nightmarish things about Feria (it stinks, it fades after two washes, etc.) I'd just like to know if anyone's ever had a good experience with the brand.
Hello! From my experience with Feria it's crap! I was going to put blond highlites in my hair with the champagne blond(I KNow now to always see my stylist about THAT)On the strand test it looked like it barely stripped away two shades of my natural coulor and it turned red!!Anyways, I've also heard that wash out natural instincts by clairol lasts longer. If I were you I would definetley weight the other options...and if you have the $ see a hairdresser!!

Feria did absolutely NOTHING good for me either. I used it to try to boost the red color in my hair and although it was redder at first, it had faded alot the first time I washed it and was completely gone by the second or third shampoo (although it claims to be permanent). I also saw none of the wonderful "double highlights" and "shimmering highs and lows" that they promise. It also made my hair DRY (despite claims that it won't "wreck or ravage your hair"). Stay away from this product!!!
I've not tried it, but according to numerious posting on alt.fashion, BeautyBuzz, and the Lipstick Page, the concensus is "try at your own risk"! The results were split between "hate it/ruined hair" to "love it/would repurchase." Personally, I would go another route.
Joy,I have never used Feria but any experience I've had with Loreal haircolor has been horrible (drying, damaging, ugly color). I have tried many types of color enhancers including Revlon Superlusterous and Loreal Casting but always go back to Natural Instincts. It is incredibly gentle to my damage-prone hair and the color is really nice. It gradually fades after a few weeks but is gentle (and inexpensive) enough to reapply every 4-6 weeks. Good luck.
I thought the Feria worked fine. I used Creme Brulee which is Light Golden Brown. But then, I've colored my hair for years myself and I also generally like L'Oreal products. I've always have had beautiful color with Preference and Excellence too. I think the most important thing is to choose the right color for your hair. Don't try to go more than a shade or two lighter than your natural color, especially if you have hair that is dark or has lots of red, with a home hair color. Also don't expect to look like the girl on the box (with any color) because the product will combine with your own "tones and highlights" to give you a very individual color. It will be similar, but not exactly the same. Quite frankly, I've found that most home hair color products are pretty much the same.
>I would strongly agree that you should use something else. I'm not sure what "Red Currant" is like, but I used "Cardinal" and it turned my hair an icky purplish brown...I REALLY don't like Feria:-(
