QuoteReplyTopic: Help For Mom W/ Hairstyles Posted: January 12 2000 at 4:49am
My mom has straight (we are talking broom like hair) but very thick. She usually gets it permed but I have always thought she looks like a poodle with it like that. She has a strong squarish face with a some what pointy chin. She also has good cheek bones. Her eyes are slightly to close together and smallish. She is an older lady 68 and is desiring a newer more modern look. Possibly with a frost if they even do those anymore.Got any suggestions? > How about having it straight, but layered with height on the top, bangs and slighly longer at the back. Just a thought: this was how my Mum went from a poodle cut to something more trendy. She has a smallish face though, so I'm not sure if it would work on your Mum. However, you might want to find a picture and then ask a hairdresser if she can adapt the style to suit your Mum's face.
