It was actually started by a woman who lost all of her hair. They use the hair to make wigs, hairpieces, etc. The joy of seeing their faces (a lot of them were teenage girls) was worth more than receiving money! I suppose you could contact the American Cancer Society and they could possibly give you a name and number to contact.SHERRI
