QuoteReplyTopic: Best Humidity Resistant Product??? Posted: January 12 2000 at 5:04am
I'm moving from Boston to the Southeast in a few months. The humidity is crazy up here right now, so I can't only imagine what it's like down South. I have hair a few inches past my shoulders, wavy (naturally drier) and I am searching for GOOD humidity resistant products. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!Jeanie
Greetings from someone living in Alabama who travels to Flordia every week. I definitely know humidity. One consolation, it does wonders for the skin! When I wear my hair curly, Aussie Anti-Humidity spray works well, although there is some crunch involved (coating it with a little glosser helps this). When I straighten it, Rusk STR8 seems to help it. Also avoid hairsprays with a high water content. Good luck!

(RAin, rain, go away!)Jeanie, I've found that Sebastian's Shaper Plus Hairspray works pretty decent in humidity. Of course, now that the temps are getting in the 90s...I don't think there's anything made yet that can hold up to THAT.Alexandra

It is heat activated and does not allow humdity into the hair!
