Long Time Lurker, first time poster!

Love this whole site, but mostly hang out here with other long hair sympathizers. It took me 3 days to read thru all the previous posts.

Gotta luv long hair - even if others don't!

Welcome Jeep Girl! I assume that's you (and your Jeep) in the photo. Your hair is gorgeous. Beautiful colour and curl.
My user name is WAY too long. Just call me Juliana. :-)

Hi and welcome, Jeepgirl!

I second (or is it third now?) what korsakovhatt3 (Juliana) said. Tell us more about your hair, it's length, texture, goal length (if longer than current length), hair history, etc... whatever you'd like.

Moi' again!

Sorry it took so long to reply... I have to share the "fun time" on the computer!

Dave you asked about my hair... well... It's 38" long, fine in texture, thick in quantity and what I call extra wavy. Not loose waves, but not curly either. In a weird sort of a way it looks like what wet straight hair braided, dried and then unbraided looks like. It was not always this way. Until 9 or 10 years ago, it was bone straight. Even when I had it longish before (BSL), it was straight. Had to get a perm straight, wouldn't hold a curl for anything straight. After chopping my hair off about 10ish years ago, I decided to let it grow long again. Once it started getting about 4-5" long it got wavy! YEAH! I have decided that I am NEVER EVER going to voluntarily have short hair again. It's just not "me". My goal length was to get my bangs pretty much level with my length - did that last year. Now my goal is to find my terminal length (I think that's what it's called???). I have been pondering getting bangs again (due to developing a wrinkly forehead) but A) it takes too dang long to grow them out if I don't like 'em and B) after my icky color experience I should learn to leave well enough alone!

That's about all for now! Dave, your hair is AWESOME (and inspiring!)

Hi Jeep Girl,

Thank you for telling us more about your hair. Very curious how its natural texture changed seemingly overnight. Any idea what might have changed (in regards to your health) to induce the straight-to-wavy switch? Thumbs up on your decision to stick with the no-bangs look. (bangs seem incongruous with ultra-long hair -- that's just my pref). And thank you kindly for your compliment. I will post a different avatar photo soon, as soon as I can get it from my old computer (drag it out of boxes, hook it up, etc... I'm in no hurry to do that at the moment).

Hi Dave!

I have no idea why my hair went from bone straight to wavy! I do know that my Mom's went from straight to wavy/curly after she had me (many moons ago). However that can't be MY reason - ha ha! I figure it is "just one of those things".

My biggest problem is trying to find products to deal with my hair right now! It seems to be very dry and tangle prone (fuzzed up ball of knots) all of a sudden.

hai sister i am vijay haircareadvicer and messur

use almond oil for better result

For Density:-
1.Add Castor oil with coconut oil(100+100ml).apply with gentle mage.

2.Take White yoke from Egg.Apply ur Scalp leave 30min before wash ur hair.

3.Curd is a moisturieser. Apply ur Scalp leave 30min before wash ur hair.

For Dandruff:-

1.Squeeze lemon and take lemon juice. Apply ur Scalp leave 30min before wash ur
hair.

2.Take White Vinegar 50ml. Apply ur Scalp leave 30min before wash ur hair.

For Lice:-
1.Spread Tulsi leaves on ur pillow before go to bed.keep head on Tulsi
leaves.

For YoungGreyHair:-

1. Add Castor oil with coconut oil(100+100ml).apply with gentle mage.

2. Eat iron content food or syrup.

To do this:-
1.Apply Natural Henna by paste format.leave 30min before wash ur hair.

2.Fold ur hair end with hair band. Dont use pins and clips for folding.

3.Eat atleast one egg or protein content food daily.

Dont do this:-

1.Dont dry ur hair by hair dryer oftenly.

2.Dont Brush ur hair with moisture.

3.Dont cut ur hair oftenly or improperly.

Because Straight cut makes Density, V cut makes long, Oval makes normal level

General Advice:-

Maintain long hair. Because the body will take protein from the supply of hair at the time of
Sick or illness. because the hair contains protein in the form of keratin.this
is the reason for mothers hair falling after birth of child. So plz maintain atleast
Hair length between Shoulder length to Waist length(50-60cm
